SriSri Anna has started the "Brahma Sabhai". It was a grand three day opening at R.R.Sabha at Mylapore, Chennai. For some time all the devotees were talking about the Sabhai. Everyone knew something about it but no one could fathom its depths. No one could even imagine its reaches and how it is going to impact our religion. All the devotees knew was that SriSri was going to call all Scholars and religious leaders and conduct a Mela. The things that SriSri had in mind was known to none. A few had anticipated something big but were not sure what. Everyone was tense and eagerly expecting the Brahma Sabhai.

Srisri hoisted the Saffron flag and started the function. A small Pooja was performed. SriSri started the Sabhai with his opening speech. "The vedas have been preserved by the Brahmin Community from time immemorial. These vedas are the very essense of Sanathana Dharma . If the Veda dies so will Hinduism. It is the duty of every Hindu to Protect the Veda. The Brahmin community is suffering due to the unfair policies of the Government. In despair the children are opting for overseas job. The Community as a whole has lost its great status given by God. Lost are the days where a Brahmin was respected. The members of the community are to be blamed for what has happened. Everyone is after money and no one seems to be interested in Sanathana Dharma.They have even forgotten the Nithya Karmas like SanthyaVandhanam. Intercaste marriages, Divorces, Interreligion marriages, Widow remarriages are more prevalent in the community. Hordes of Brahmins get settled in other countries. Overseas travel which the shasthras prohibit is common. Vaideegas perform InterCaste and InterReligion Marriages using Vedic rites though it is not allowed in the Vedas. No one knows what is right and what is not regarding Vedic rites. If the Brahmin community continues to be like this then it will be very difficult to protect the Vedas that our ancestors have for Yugas Protected. It is our duty to ask ourselves lot of questions at this juncture. The Brahma Sabhai and its members will answer these questions. Whenever a doubt arises regarding  Sanathana Dharma the Sabhai will give the Solution. I have Raised a list of 50 questions and in the coming three days Scholars and Leaders will give their views on the issues raised. At the end I will give  answers to all these problems and frame rules as to how a Hindu should live at this confused state of affairs". SriSri's opening speech was very charging. When he talked about the sorry state of the religion, Brahmin community and Veda he Cried, he pleaded, he demanded and finally he ordered. The Speech made a firm dent on everyone's mind and what was about to come was made clear. The questioner was circulated among the public. 

Almost all the Scholars and leaders SriSri Invited had Come. Many Matathipathis had also sent their Srimukams. Sri Vijeyandra Saraswathi Swamigal  fondly called as Bala Periyava graced the Sathas. Nearly 35 Scholars and leaders Spoke giving their answers to SriSri's Questions. Sri Ramagopalan, Sri Muralidhara Swamigal, Sri Manian, Sri Cho Ramaswamy were among a Prominent few. SriSri Concluded the three day function with his Speech. He thanked all the Scholars and leaders who had come on his request. He said all of them had affirmed his firm belief that a good solution can be brought out. A booklet containing the Rules that SriSri had framed was distributed. The great Mission that SriSri has taken is clear now. He has set the path that all Hindus should follow for centuries to come. His Everflowing grace is evident if one goes through the Booklet. He has given a solution to all possible problems. His vision of  spreading Hinduism around the Globe is a real one that will give a real joyful shock to anyone.
